From the keep in ruins, the village has flowed down the hill over the centuries nto the plain, as though to cuddle up to the vines below. Which reminds us that t this land has given its name to a variety of vine, the Marsanne, which is among those which make up the northern Côtes du Rhône wines, as well as the Swiss Valais wines.
