Manas is a small village formerly surrounded by ramparts and situated in the most eastern part of the Marsanne plain. It winds itself round its 16th century castle, so easily recognised by its turret, mounted by a weather-vane. The village is made up of winding lanes and secret passages,all leading to the top of the village.
A village for nature-lovers and also a botanical village which deserves a visit, particularly in spring.
Over 150 varieties, planted throughout the village on the theme of rare or little known bushes, « agneau chaste « or jujube tree for an exotic meandering.
