village de Cléon d'andran

The best way to understand Cleon D'Andran is to see it from above. An aerial photo speaks for itself. The village has grown like an onion, in concentic circles. Around the church, in the centre, easily visible because of its pointed bell-tower, are to be found all the older buildings of the village.

To appreciate a visit to Cleon, you have to wind your way through the old village. If you enter the church, generally open during the day, do not miss, to the right of the nave, the two sculptured stones set into the wall.(photo)
