The Adhémar Castle

Built at the end of the XIIth century on top the hill dominating Montélimar, and refl ecting the power of the Adhémar family, this is a rare example of a residential palace from the Romanesque period. XIth century chapel and XIIIth century seigniorial Palace. Classifi ed as a historical monument in 1889, the Palace is a contemporaryarter exhibitions.

Museum of Protestantism in the Dauphine

In the heart of a mediaeval village, once seat of a commandry of the Knights Hospitallers of St John of Jerusalem, the museum is installed in the home of one of these knights. Discover one of the two protestant churches which survived the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes and the history of protestantisme in the Dauphiné, from the Reformation up to nowadays. VIVIERS

3 rd conservation area of the Rhône Alpes region, bishopric of the Ardèche region since the V th century, Viviers is an open-air museum. On most façades, Romanesque or Gothic doors and windows can be seen side by side as well as Renaissance or XVIII th century ones. The St Vincent Cathedral is standing on top of the rock. Built in the XII th century. Magnificent Gobelins tapestries.

Bourg Saint Andéol
